Observations for a changing world.

Hello Everyone,

Why is it that our mind takes something that's so simple, for example, writing a blog and make it into something that we want to avoid and pretend doesn't exist even though we carry that energy with us as that ill at ease inability to cope. I think we apply avoidance in so many ways in our life and we are stuck in the illusion of separation from ourselves. It is almost like we live in one big alcoholic system. So much of what I see in the world is very simualr to alcoholic behaviors. We avoid and create conflict with others to avoid ourselves and our fears. We avoid what we want most which is to know ourselves and something greater than ourselves. We have been conditioned to fear change and in that conditioning we've created hell on earth. The only one that we are hurting by this indecision and ability to truly look within and change is ourselves. We fear what we do not know, which is ourselves and our source, which are One. We are only keeping ourselves from a we deserve most which is Love from Within, it is the Love Source, the Love of all existence, all of the universe, beyond words
I never know quite what to talk about but it always seems to come out nonetheless.
When I have an audience I never shut up, yet I have trouble sitting in front of this computer even though I have a NaturallySpeaking device to help with dictation. I happen to have the TV on. I'm watching one of those travel shows on public television. I find television a needless distraction of violence and ego driven thoughts that separate us from what is real. I think television was initially invented as a great communication and entertainment device but now it's all we do, sit in front of it and never use our creative mind.
As I'm watching this show the host is talking about a place of pilgrimage. The setting is a beautiful church where everyone gathers to worship and be in the mystery that is God. It is beautiful as everyone stands in the majesty of the moment, then it dawned on me, most people think that's such a setting is the only place you can find God. Celebrating God in such a ritual is wonderful, but you can also know the Truth of Love which is God from Within us while sitting there watching a documentary on such things.
We've been sent in the wrong direction. We have become misguided in the ego driven mind, which is this world. We need to be brought back to a place of balance. The return to balance is taking place, can you feel the drama? It is taking place all over this world, the slow drip of change. It has indeed been crazy in the world and things are changing. We need to all adjust to the changes and see what's important, which is ourselves. Everywhere I go I see the same things over and over and over. An inability to truly embarrass what we have been given we only see the material instead of what is at the core of all our stuff, US! Look at yourself, forgive yourself, accept yourself and love yourself, it is the greatest gift you possess.
