Hello everybody,
I hope this message finds you well and enjoying an early spring. I am so blessed to live on a farm, to be connected to the soil, and to nature. I feel this many people are disconnected and they don't even realize the beauty around them anymore. On Sunday morning I woke up at 5 am so I thought it would go out and do chores. When I walked out the door it was totally quiet and the sun was just starting to light up the distant eastern sky. That is when I heard the call of my local ringneck pheasant friend. He had been coming into the yard all winter to eat the dropped seeds out of the birdfeeders. I have known this rooster for several years and only heard his call every morning but on this morning there was celebration in the air. As I said it was totally quiet, with no traffic on the distant highway and my rooster called out his morning cry. I was hauling hay out the barn for the cattle when I heard another rooster crowing off in distance, then I heard another, then another. That morning I heard four pheasant roosters crowing and I realize that my friend was not alone any longer, he had competition. I am so blessed to hear such song before the din of traffic began and again their song of joy would be drowned out by the intervention of mankind. I find that truly sad. I trust that we are at a time when all our wrongs will be corrected.
Everything else is going very well. The office has been very busy with groups and individuals coming from all directions. The first group I started is now into its sixth month with no end in sight. They refused to stop meeting. Last week the second group hit week eight and they are following the mind set of the first group in refusing to let the group finish at twelve weeks. Everyone I've been working with in a group setting says that there are with me for the long haul. In that I am truly humbled and grateful for the experience with all these woderful people. I have the wonderful opportunity to see miracles happen all the time. I wish everyone could see what I see. I see the grace of God's love in all people without judgment. Yet we live in a world where God is judgment. In this world there is no truth, in this world we have it all backwards. Sadly, as human beings we have to learn the hard way. We run and run until we can't run anymore and that's what's taking place right now. Please do yourself a favor and stop running. Learn to love yourself, accept yourself and forgive yourself and all those around you and see the truth as I see it, that we are all One. The following is a testimonial I received from a woman I felt I needed to share. I often don't know how to take what I do too seriously but I find that others take it very serious. I am just here as myself to do God's good work which is to teach only LOVE, in helping others to see their own value and goodness and light. Allow yourself to see your Love.
Enjoy the following:
Steven- you’ve given me and my teenage daughter so much hope after one meeting that I wish we had met you years ago. You have had a profound impact on us and literary helped save my daughter’s life for she was in a very dark place suffering with depression and dealing with suicide of a classmate. She started to feel like life is worth living again after her visit with you. She had given up on God and religion and you provided her with the hope she needed of a higher power. She told me that you have helped her more in 1 hour then almost 6 months of therapy.
You have an amazing gift. I have enjoyed reading your blogs and all the wisdom within. I continue to enjoy the wonderful music that you gave us. You have truly touched our lives and inspired us with healing and love thorough a very difficult time.

What's new
Hello Everyone,
Well the weather sure is warm and unwinter like. It is a nice change as far as caring for farm animals is concerned. The buckets are never frozen and everyone is comfortable. The bad part is that we have had no snow cover and very little moisture all winter. I think I brought out the tractor only twice to plow the driveway. Prayer for rain.
Otherwise things are going very well. We have made progress on the new website and the new brochures are a great success.
I am currently running three groups. Two at my office downtown and one at my job with Peaceful Solutions Counseling. They are all going very well. The Saturday morning group has been meeting for almost six months. We have such fun in our journey of self discovery that no one wants to stop. In a survey I recently gave out the group members they stated they where in this journey with me for the long haul. How wonder is that. I look forward to all the discoveries to come. All for now.
I have to go and shovel out the frozen now thawed and gross duck pen. Wish me luck.
Love to All, Steven
PS. Enjoy the following passage.
Anything Can Be Overcome, Hope in Hardship
There is nothing in our life that cannot be overcome with time, love, friendship and attention to the matter. The journey that each human being makes through earthly existence can have hardship as often as it is touched by joy. When we encounter adversity, the stress we feel can erode our optimism, eventually convincing us that the issues we face cannot be overcome. In truth, there is no situation so dire, no challenge so great, and no choice so bewildering that it cannot be overcome. Though we may believe that all avenues have been closed to us or that our most conscientious efforts will come to naught, we are never without feasible options. The best course of action may be veiled in doubt, but it is there. When we are honest with ourselves with regard to this simple fact, we can overcome anything because we will never stop looking for a solution to the challenges before us. Self-trust coupled with a sturdy plan is the ultimate antidote to adversity’s tendency to inspire disillusionment in the human mind. As difficult as the obstacle plaguing you seems, it is no match for the love of a supportive universe that has been a part of your life since the day of your birth and will be with you forevermore. Try not to be misguided by your fear as this gives rise to the notion that there are problems without solutions. If you believe in your capabilities and dedicate yourself to the creation of some form of resolution, you will be surprised to discover that paths that were once closed to you miraculously open. Even if all you can do is change your perspective to turn an impediment into an opportunity to grow, you will have found the hope that is an inherent element of all hardship. Remember that your destiny is a product of your own creation. Even when it seems you have nowhere left to turn, there is a solution waiting for you. The only insurmountable obstacles are the ones you create in your own mind—and these can only exert power over you if you let them. Uncertainty will always be a part of your existence, but perseverance and mindfulness will never fail to see you through to the other side of hardship where joy can thrive. Try and remember that no matter what life places at your feet, there is absolutely no situation that cannot be resolved with time, love, trust, and friendship.
